The Science Fair Committee is excited to welcome you to the Cathedral Chapel School Science Fair Webpage! 

Remember that science should be inspiring and thought-provoking.  At the root of an authentic project is to question or problem to be solved.  Your project should be inquiry-based and relate closely to a topic that truly inspires you.  It is from this inspiration that we encourage you to create, design, complete, and present a project.

From Inspiration to Innovation: Full S.T.E.A.M Ahead!

The theme for the science fair this year is From Innovation to Inspiration: Full S.T.E.A.M. Ahead! The Science Fair Committee understands that the completion of a project can be a daunting task. We encourage your child to start with a simple question. What inspires you? No idea is too small. Creativity is welcomed. Think outside of the box but make it personal and start at home. It is our home that this source of inspiration leads to an innovative science fair project.

As you work on your project please keep in mind the connections to the Next Generation Science Standards and S.T.E.A.M. (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math). We would also like you to consider completing a project using the Engineering Process Design. Whatever the project, enjoy the journey and lead with what inspires you. What comes next will surely be innovative.
